Earth Day Birthday Tree Planting Party

Plainsong Farm began on Earth Day 2015.

To celebrate our sixth birthday, we're planting hundreds of baby trees — and you're invited!

Plainsong staff will introduce volunteers to our property conservation plan to improve water quality and wildlife habitat by planting native trees and shrubs around the farm. Volunteers should wear comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes, gloves and sun hats. We suggest bringing a reusable water bottle and a shovel if you have one. Water and a porta potty will be available. We will provide instruction, oversight and shovels for people who can't bring their own. Supervised children are welcome. No dogs, please (working dogs accepted).
