School groups regularly visit Plainsong Farm for field trips that support classroom learning goals. Public school groups, private school groups, and homeschool groups are welcome. Programs can be customized to your group to include information about the connections between food, agriculture and the environment as well as a hands-on experience growing food or tending to the farm property. Faith based content can be included upon your request. Hands on experiences beyond the farm fields can include pollinator habitat planting and care, cover cropping, and tree planting.
A program fee of $125 covers up to 30 students for up to a 90 minute session.
