Mike McIntosh (he/him), since recently leaving the formal workforce after a 5 year stint as a teacher and 37 years in IT, is re-igniting his interest in learning and music, as well as investing in Plainsong Farm, in long-delayed house projects, and in church (as well as finishing many conversations he and his wife were never able to finish). He joined the board because the Farm was young--and still is--and he wanted to help shape it and be shaped by it in the many ways the Farm lives out its mission and vision. He has too many favorite things about Plainsong to choose one, though the main thing is he enjoys being there. He hopes to learn and live out with the rest of the Farm (staff, community, board) some of the implications of living “to connect people, places and God.”
