Throughout the growing season, people of all ages and backgrounds are welcome as fieldwork volunteers. No previous experience or knowledge is expected! This is a great, hands-on way to learn about agriculture and help create a more resilient and equitable food system.
Fieldwork may include preparing garden beds, weeding, hoeing, moving compost and wood chips, irrigating, harvesting, trellising tomatoes, seeding, transplanting, and more. Supervised children are welcome. No dogs, please (working dogs accepted).
In the 2022 growing season, open volunteer times are Mondays from 9:30-11:30 a.m. If you plan to come, please register so we know when to expect you! Sign up here.
We will also be hosting groups and individuals monthly on Saturdays from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Each month we’ll tackle a different project and an optional farm tour will begin at 11:30 a.m. The Saturday date for this season is September 24th. Mark your calendars and check back for sign-ups as each date approaches.

We want you and your community to join us in this work to help make our world a better place and to learn valuable skills through hands-on experiences. Join with our team in seasonal, onsite projects to support the farm and community.
Each session offers the option for your group to take a guided farm tour and gather in one of our outdoor spaces to discuss issues of food, farming, and our connection to the natural world. We host volunteer groups on Friday mornings from 9:30-11:30 a.m. May-October.
Want to volunteer in another way or at another time? Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 616-747-0737 to let us know about your interest and availability!
